Woodside Queens, NY Private Investigator and Process Server

Woodside is a neighborhood located in the western part of Queens Township of New York City. It is identified as a commercial and residential area, and because of this, some streets can be quiet and quiet while others are hectic and very noisy.

Woodside is surrounded by Astoria to the north, Maspeth to the south, Elmhurst and Jackson Heights to the east and Sunnyside to the west.

This region was part of the Town of Newtown in the 19th century. The town is now known as Elmhurst. The adjacent area of Winfield lost much of its identity distinct from Woodside because it was incorporated into the post office serving the neighborhood. However, in the 1860s there was a large-scale residential development.

Many Asian American families moved into the area in the early 1990s, being part of the population of Woodside by 30%.

The actual population is around 45.000, being mostly Asians and Hispanics, that covers more than 70% of the residents. Making, even more, a diverse neighborhood and a very interesting place to visit.

It is located in Queens Community District 2 and its ZIP Code is 11377. It is patrolled by the New York City Police Department’s 108th Precinct, and politically, Woodside is represented by the New York City.

Nowadays the neighborhood is filled with many cultural restaurants and pubs, reflecting its longtime diverse foods and drink. It is also home to some of the city’s most popular Thai, Filipino, and South American eateries.
